Ely Architects Ltd were engaged to refurbish and extend part of a traditional farmsteading located along the Military Road in Northumberland. Whilst not a listed building, it sits within the Hadrian’s Wall buffer zone and Green Belt.
Through the development of multiple options to address the restrictions placed upon the site and with consideration of adjoining properties to the courtyard, planning permission was granted in 2019.
